1. Are there any warranty for online purchase?

Yes of course. As authorised retailer, products purchased at Retrophonic both online and in-store are covered by manufacturer / supplier warranty. Electronic products usually comes with 1 year local warranty. NAD Electronics, PSB Speakers & Pro-ject Audio products come with 2-year local warranty.

Please note that consumable and products that subject to wear and tear, such as stylus, belt, cleaning kit and brushes, are cover under limited warranty, usually for 7 days.

2. Can I return & exchange the products?

Unless the products are faulty or damaged, we practise no return or exchange policy. If you are not sure whether a product is suitable for you, we highly recommend visiting our showroom for an audition session. It is best to test out the equipment and hear how they sound before making decision.

In the unfortunate event if the products are faulty or damage, we will divert to the service center of the equipment suppliers for warranty claim. They will usually try to repair it first. If this cannot be accomplished, the usual solution is to offer one-to-one exchange. In the event that both options mentioned above are not available, then we will offer a refund as the last resort.

3. What payment method do you accept?

For online purchase we accept Paypal, Credit Card (Mastercards and Visa, via Paypal interface) and bank transfer. For in-shop purchase, we accept cash, NETS, credit cards (Mastercards, Visa, American Express & JCB Card)

4. Is my credit card secure?

Retrophonic does not store your credit card information on our server. Your credit card details are captured and process directly at payment gateway’s website, which handles all the necessary security such as encryption, SSL etc. We only work with top and reliable payment gateway providers so that you can be certain that your credit card details are safe.

5. What are back order items?

Back order items means that we do not have them in stock at Retrophonic but we could order them from our suppliers. If our local suppliers have the items in stock, they can usually deliver them to Retrophonic within 2-3 days. If the items need to be sourced from overseas, it might take 2-3 weeks.

Please email us before placing orders for back order items so that we can get an estimate time frame when new stock will arrive.

6. Do you provide HiFi system setup service?

Sorry, we currently do not provide onsite system setup and installation.

If you are concerned about connectivity, compatibility or setup, we encourage that you visit our show room so that we can demonstrate and show you how to get them done.

7. Can you help me setup the turntable?

For online orders, this is a bit hard to do. This is because most of the time when counter weight is fitted and acrylic cover installed, the turntable won’t fit the original packaging.

We highly recommend learning the skill to setup turntable because it will be very handy in adjusting the turntable in the future. This is important if you change or upgrade the cartridge, or if someone messed up your setting. You can also purchase a stylus pressure gauge and other tools to help you with the correct setup.

8. Can I cancel my orders?

Unfortunately we are unable to cancel an order once it has been placed unless the item(s) that you ordered are out of stock or might take extended time to arrive.

9. Is this Website Secure?

This website is hosted on a dedicated cloud hosting server, in-house managed and all data transferred, including your orders and personal details, are encrypted using SSL.

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a server and a client. This is a standard security feature for eCommerce website.

HiFi Shop by Retrophonic (hifishop.retrophonic.sg) is also protected by industry security companies against Malware. The website is scanned daily.
